hugging/touching this character: NOT okay. Please ask permission first! Megumi's been physically abused in the past, and she avoids accepting touch from other people. Her space bubble is her safety net. Case in point: Sanosuke saves her life in a very heroic and dashing way, then when it's time to run for it, he grabs her hand to help her escape. She slaps his hand away, not allowing him to touch her even helpfully.

Not only is Megumi from a time period and culture in which she finds this offensive, but because of the way it's hinted that she was abused by Takeda and possibly creeped on by Aoshi, this is extremely disturbing for her. Be prepared for negative consequences with her ICly
fighting this character: Please don't without permission, but I wouldn't mind this so much. She isn't very strong, but be prepared for her to defend herself tooth and nail against you. She's got scalpels hidden on her person and she won't hesitate to stab or cut you, bite you, whatever necessary to survive. You will come out looking like an asshole for hurting defenseless doctor, so be prepared for IC consequences.

warnings: Megumi has a strong survival instinct and is a bit damaged from her past, in which she was held prisoner against her will and forced to make lethal drugs by a man who abused her. Please see her profile on this journal for more. She has attempted suicide numerous times and been denied death each time, which affected her deeply.
I have a very specific idea of when and how I want her development to proceed. Please respect that, I'm not interested in rping her having a complete breakdown and losing herself.
